The Pool House is situated in the old part of Lamu town, a medina of narrow alleyways where many of the grand old stone houses are located, about ten minutes walk from the historical town center.

Pepo House Kizingoni Beach Lamu offers a welcoming pool, positioned between two mature indigenous shade trees, the outside dining pavilion and the swinging beds. A generous veranda offers an expandable seating area, which leads off the internal ground floor baraza area.

The house consists of four towers, around an elevated, 16m infinity pool. Shady makuti-covered terraces run between the four areas, providing privacy for the pool area, while allowing the breeze to blow through and gently sway the hanging beds.Entertainment areas abound, with a welcoming bar and baraza seating area by the entrance, a large lower dining area, a rooftop dining/recreation area and plenty of room around the pool for sun worshiping and dining under the stars.

Kusini House Kizingoni Beach Lamu is a beautiful luxurious villa on Kizingoni Beach which is on Lamu Island just off the North Kenyan coast. Kusini sleeps eight guests in four spacious rooms, it is fully staffed including a chef and a boat captain for the private speed boat.

Wazi Dubu House is the southern most property on Kizingoni Beach. Its spacious, cool design and palm fringed position have made it a great favourite with family visitors and party groups alike. Tanganyusi House Shela

Dhow House Shela Village Lamu

Finished in 2004 by Katy Barker, Dhow House is a spectacular property combining both traditional Swahili and modern design. Dhow House is an oasis of calm, sitting between the Indian ocean and timeless sand dunes set back in 3 acres of garden; a hidden treasure offers maximum privacy.

Kisimani House was originally built in the late 18th Century for the Caliph of Zanzibar when Lamu was in its Golden Age. As you step through the beautiful carved Lamu doors set in the traditional Lamu baraza entrance and down into the sunken courtyard you travel back in time, shades of Arabian nights. The ground floor is the historical part of the house. Here there is a double bedroom in the original harem quarters, carved Zidaka niches and courtyard garden.

The Fort at Shela Beach stands alone in the sand dunes. Beyond the Fort are 14 km of an extremely private deserted beach. Although quite isolated, it is but a short distance walk to the famous Peponi Hotel, where you may relax and enjoy the sunset or go for a sunset cruise on one of the dhows normally parked in front. The Fort comes with a staff of 10 to take care of all your needs.

Habibti House, Shela Village

Its magnificent rooftop, where you stay under shady Makuti shelters, overviews all blooming gardens down to Lamu creek, the sailing dhows and the mangroves of Manda Island. There is always a cool breeze in the house and every floor provides many ritzy spaces as comfortable Swahili beds to daydream under the open sky.
