We had a great experience – Carol and Godfrey were helpful and accommodating on the office side, and our guide, James Muchina, was fantastic on the field side. The others on our trip ended up cancelling, so we upgraded to a private tour. Very glad we did – James is a true wildlife and bird enthusiast, and was tireless in the pursuit not only of the large game that most groups focus on, but also of birds of all sorts – he even indulged us in stopping to watch a dung beetle for a while! He was very knowledgeable and clearly enjoys what he does. Also a great photographer – he posted gorgeous photos from our trip on Facebook. His knowledge of history, the Maasai culture, animal lure and customs and his great friendly, flexible service made the trip even better. He was able to get us photo shots of every animal we could dream for shooting and the view of the wildebeest herds is something we can never forget and a picture can never capture. The Balloon ride was fantastic also. I am definitely recommending your company and the Mara Serena Lodge to anyone going on a Maasai Mara safari for the friendly professional way you manage clients and your great staff. I guess they made my Easter something to talk about and I could see the envy on my workmates eyes when I told them of the escapades.
