Hot air balloons are an ingenious application of basic scientific principles. The basis of how the balloon works is that warmer air rises in cooler air. This is because hot air is lighter than cool air as it has less mass per unit of volume. Mass can be defined by the measure of how much matter something contains. The actual balloon called an envelope has to be large as it takes such a large amount of heated air to lift it off the ground. For example, to lift 1000 pounds worth of weight you would need almost 65,000 cubic feet of heated air! To help keep the balloon in the air and rising, hot air needs to be propelled upwards into the envelope using the burner. The maximum height of a balloon safari is about two thousand feet which is great for all round views of the landscape. For closer view of the game, it can descend as low as one foot close enough to capture panoramic & photographic essence of the savannah plains.
Ballooning is a once in a lifetime DO experience that leaves an everlasting mark in your life. There is little that can match the aesthetic appeal of a huge colorful balloon rising like an airborne lollipop out of the pre-dawn darkness into the first rays of the sun. Perhaps the most romantic use for a hot air balloon is weddings. This is a unique way of tying a matrimonial covenant for a couple. While a hot air balloon wedding may be a strange concept to some, it has proved to be a popular option for many couples.

The adventure begins before dawn after coffee and a flight briefing. Suspended in a basket beneath the colorful canopy, you are in for a game-viewing adventure with an entirely different perspective on a one hour flight over the Maasai Mara, the land of breathtaking scenery.
