Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp is located on the shores of a fresh water lake in Kenya about a 90 minutes leisure drive North West of Nairobi, outside the town of Naivasha along Moi South road.
It is part of the Great Rift Valley. The name derives from the local Masai name Nai'posha, meaning "rough water" because of the sudden storms which can arise. The lake has a surface area of 139 km² and is surrounded by a swamp which covers an area of 64 square km, but this can vary largely depending on rainfall.

Elsamere Field Study Centre Naivasha is located 22 kilometers down Moi South Lake Road, Naivasha and is an integral part of Elsamere and was established in 1989. It continues the conservation work started by the Adamson's and offers a wide range of educational programmes for teachers, pupils and community leaders.

Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge is situated on the southern shores of Lake Naivasha - the only freshwater Lake within Africa's Great Rift Valley, about 100 Kilometers from Nairobi and 15 kilometers from Naivasha town.

The Naivasha Simba Lodge is situated on the banks of Lake Naivasha, the cleanest lake in the Great Rift Valley. It has no known outlet, which is considered a requisite for a fresh water lake!

Kigio Wildlife Camp is a superb all-suite camp surrounded by a beautiful Yellow-fever tree woodland overlooking the Malewa River. The camp is constructed in an environmentally friendly way from sustainable pine-wood, local earth from the conservancy, traditional thatch provided by the surrounding community and canvas panels - there has been minimal usage of cement and steel and the environment has been carefully preserved during its construction. Power is provided by solar panels.

The striking Malewa Wildlife Lodge is set within a glorious Yellow-fever tree woodland along the Malewa River which attracts over 250 species of exotic birds. Once a rudimentary lodge, it has been transformed into a stunning ecolodge incorporating a dramatic architectural style and traditional African building methods and concepts. The mess area is a beautiful double-storey structure made up of a massive thatched roof covering games and relaxation areas on the upper deck and a lovely communal sitting area with fireplaces, dining room and bar on the ground level.

Elsamere, the home of Joy and George Adamson (pictured above), is situated on the southern shore of Lake Naivasha in Kenya's Rift Valley. It was here that Joy nurtured some of her orphaned big cats. The area is still a haven for wildlife, with its own small troop of black and white colobus monkeys living and playing in the Acacia trees. Fish Eagles call from the lake shore and hippos, eland and zebra graze on the lawns at night. In addition the Centre is a bird lovers paradise with more than 260 species of bird
