Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, lying North West of Nairobi, outside the town of Naivasha. Its 10 km from Naivasha town and part of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus.
At 90 km North West of Kenya's capital Nairobi Lake Naivasha is just over an hour's drive by road. Lake Naivasha is located in the District of Nakuru (Rift Valley Province) and covers an area of Area: 177 square Kilometers.
