Kiangazi House lies within a Wildlife corridor connecting the lake Naivasha shore, environs with Hells Gate National Park and beyond into the Masailand. Adjacent to Kiangazi House is the private 20,000 acre Oserian Wildlife Sanctuary complete with a diversity of wildlife including rhino, leopard, cheetah, Grevy's zebra, giraffe, kudu and hyena.
Game drives can be arranged here or, for those wishing to venture further afield, it is possible to arrange a whole day trip in the lodges 4x4 vehicles to Lake Nakuru National Park. With delightful lush gardens littered with color, rolling lawns and a view to compliment the beautiful setting, it's ironic that "Kiangazi" is the Swahili word meaning "hot and dry season". This delightful country house overlooks Oloidien Bay and part of Lake Naivasha.
Kiangazi House has a library and huge fireplace it is an ideal place to relax in. Or, for the more energetic, there is a tennis court which overlooks the corridor route taking wildlife to water at the lakes edge. A salt lick and water hole is excellently located at the bottom of the garden for animals to congregate at.
Kiangazi House Accommodation
Kiangazi House is set amongst beautiful lush gardens and tended lawns, this homestead has truly breathtaking views of un spoilt Africa. Accommodation consists of 5 rooms. Each room has its own distinctive character with en-suite bathroom. All of the beds are four-poster surrounded in netting.
Three of the rooms (1 twin, 2 doubles) are inside the main house, one of these being the Ibis suite which has its own fireplace and mini-bar. 2 new garden rooms are situated outside the main house and have their own private verandas. (3 smaller annex rooms can be made available for larger groups).
Kiangazi House has highly trained professional chefs who deliver an exquisite array of cuisine. Fresh vegetables and dairy products are produced on the farm nearby and therefore obtained daily. A swimming pool is creatively blended into the surrounding garden.
