This one day hiking excursion tour to Aberdare National Park departs any day of the week at 0600hrs

Aberdare National Park offers a raft of activities paralleled by few other wildlife parks. These include:

Trekking and hiking. Some of Kenya's finest trekking and hiking trails crisscross the Aberdare's lower slopes and moorland.

Mountain biking: Given its high altitudes, Aberdare Kenya is a great place to hone your mountain biking skills while taking in the awesome sights of Kenya wildlife as well as the breathtaking landscapes. If you are yearning for a generous doze of green, the Aberdare ranges Kenya is right up your alley as it is heavily forested. This excursion exposes one to pure bliss in the serene moorland, not to mention a myriad of crystal clear waterfalls that convert into fresh mineral rivers that snake their way into the nearby farms through central highlands of Kenya.

Itinerary
0600hrs: Our representative will pick you from your hotel and brief you on the safari before you proceed to Aberdare National Park. We will drive through the breath taking view of the Central Highlands.

On a rare sunny day - a 14km trek through Aberdare National Park

0930hrs: Proceed for a guided trekking along the Moorland seating on an altitude of 1829M to 4001M above sea level. Aberdare National Park, with an area of 767 Km2 covers the higher areas of the Aberdare Mountain Ranges of Central Kenya. The topography is quite diverse with deep ravines that cut through the forested eastern and western slopes. Animals easily observed in the park include; the Black Rhino, leopard, baboon, black and white Colobus monkey and sykes monkey. Rarer sightings include those of lions, the golden cat and the bongo- an elusive forest antelope that lives in the bamboo forest. Animals like the eland and spotted and melanistic serval cats can be found higher up in the moorlands.. The flora and fauna is quite unique and is not found elsewhere in the country expect on Mount Kenya. After enjoying a bush picnic lunch, proceed on with our game drive as we exit the park arriving in Nairobi by 1830hrs with a drop off to your hotel or residence.
