The Joint mass of Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks forms one of the largest National parks in the world and covers a massive 4% of Kenya's total land area. Tsavo East the larger of the two, lies to the east of the Nairobi –Mombasa road, equidistant between Nairobi and Mombasa, and offers a vast and untapped arena of arid bush which is washed by azure and emerald meandering of Galana River. Guarded by the limitless lava reaches of Yatta plateau and patrolled by some of the largest elephant herds in Kenya. Other common wildlife are Lion, Gerenuk, Cheetah, Hirola (Hunters Hartebeest) among many other wildlife species. The prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.
0600hrs: Our representative will pick you from your Beach Hotel / Resort in Mombasa and drive drive to Tsavo East (170 km from Mombasa). Arrival through Voi Gate for park fees payment formalities then proceed for a game drive within the vast park.
1245hrs - 1430hrs: Lunch at Ashnil Aruba Lodge which overlooks the vast Aruba dam before departing the park for Mombasa with an enroute game drive to arrive in Mombasa in time for dinner at your beach hotel or transfer to Moi International Airport for an onward flight connection.
