The Sopa Lodges experience,
Day 1: Nairobi – Aberdare (Lunch, Dinner)
Our representative will pick you from your hotel and brief you on the safari before proceeding to the Aberdare National Park. We depart early in the morning to the Outspan hotel passing through the industrial town of Thika and the intensely cultivated farms of the central Kenya. Lunch will be served at Outspan hotel before being transferred to the Treetops lodge one of the two famous tree hotels in the Aberdares National Park. Nocturnal game viewing is the highlight of the tree lodges such that the guests are at liberty to request to be notified in the event that a rare animal turns up at the waterhole. Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino, Leopard and Bushbuck are regular visitors.
You can take pleasure in the safety and comfort of the observation lounges which allow you to photograph the territorial charge of Rhino, protective matriarch Elephant and bounding Bushbuck. A pride of Lions have on more than one occasion made a meal of some poor unfortunate warthog to the fascinated horror of Treetops guests. The new renovated ensuite rooms are either single or twin enough to accommodate guests respectively. Dinner or overnight stay at The Treetops Lodge
