Baraka House Watamu
Baraka, the local word for joy and well-being, expresses the flavor of enchantment surrounding this lovely Swahili style home. The house offers:
Location
Whatever the reason, Baraka is certainly an elemental house! Nestled into coastal forest, home to flashing butterflies, monkeys and miniature antelope, the house is situated on a pristine beach opposite the famous Watamu National Marine Park, a venue to some of the finest snorkeling on the East African Coast.www.crocodileracers.com
While being within easy reach of the Arabuko-Sokoke Forest and an excellent starting point for butterfly and bird watching activities, the house is also only a five-minute drive away from Watamu village.
Layout
Baraka House has three, luxury, double ensuite bedrooms, each with its own private front and back balconies. There are several comfortable reception areas plus two roofs; one roof is for stargazing and a second roof comfortably sleeps four people under mosquito nets, making it viable to house slightly larger groups and families.
Meals
Meals can either be provided or self-catered, but in either case a chef is provided. Specialties include seafood, vegetarian and whole meal health food, but all tastes are catered to depending on your personal preference. In addition your cook can make homemade bread, granola, yogurt, cakes and biscuits.
