Bankhouse Karen Retreat Centre
Bankhouse Karen is a serene retreat centre In Nairobi located in a quiet and attractive environment. The retreat enjoys deeply refreshing breeze emanating from the well conserved and forested surrounding and is well distinguished by the relaxing sites of natural beauty.
Accommodation
We have a variety of discerningly furnished and spacious en suite rooms each fitted with water heating systems, modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. Our premises is connected to wifi and we have flat screen Tvs in all rooms. Accommodation is available in either single or double occupancy. We have a variety of rooms to choose from. Other house-keeping services like laundry and shoe cleaning are also available.
In each building we have a common lounge that has a fire place, comfortable seats, flat screen TV and multi-channeled entertainment. We offer tea/coffee making facilities. Each lounge has dining tables where breakfast and meals can be served on request for groups or families. These lounges are ideal for sharing and relaxing during breakfast or evenings.
Services
We provide homely facilities including accommodation, meals and drinks, laundry services, recreation areas and also conference facilities. The neighboring tourist attraction sites include Giraffe centre, Mamba village, Bomas of Kenya, national museum of Kenya etc. Leisure and sporting activities such as golf, horse racing, horse riding are within close proximity to our Centre.

We welcome guests from all over the world. The official communication languages are English and Swahili. Staff
All staff engaged in the Home have been well trained and qualified in various institutions. These include Food and Beverage staff, Special diet requirements, Laundry and Housekeeping group, Management and Administration personnel and also Recreational and Security staff, just to mention a few.
Facilities
Conference Hall
We also have a very large and executively furnished pavilion where families and friends can meet for meals, chamas, planning sessions, etc. It is very well lit and has a big balcony with excellent view of the Bankhouse. A fountain and birds refresh you as you sit in the balcony.
Our multipurpose conference hall is well furnished and can be set up suitably for events like weddings, seminars, boardroom meetings, entertainments, church services, dinners and parties according to customers' needs. The standard supplies with the room for seminars and boardroom meetings, etc are writing pads, pens, 500ml mineral water, flip charts, projectors and a PA system.
We also have small discussion rooms for private meetings. Here we offer self service tea/coffee facilities. We also have ample and secure car wash and car parking facilities.

We have a gym equipped with ultra-modern facilities which is free for resident guests.
Guests may enjoy other sports activities like golf, horse racing, horse riding which are within 1km to 5km radius from the retreat centre.
