Spice of the Coast luxury cottages are set 800 metres from the white sand beaches of the Indian Ocean in Diani Beach, Mombasa's South Coast. The luxury cottages - spice of the Coast, are spacious, romantically decorated with soft lights from coastal lamps and designed with a mixture of old and modern African art. Well hidden in a mature garden , full of indigeous as well as fruit trees.
Spice of the coast offers a blend of various "cuisines", a touch of the orient, kenyan and Mediterranean kitchen with European twist. There are various wines to match the dinners, served at the required temperatures.

Spice of the Coast cottages comprise of four large luxury cottages that can house two guests per cottage. The stay option for the luxury cottages includes breakfast at any time. A two bedroom "tree house" apartment which includes a fully furnished kitchen. Set on a wide plot, the luxury cottages have ample space in-between allowing for privacy and tranquility. Each cottage has its own unique style and is fully furnished with excellent collection of fittings, furniture, tapestry, art and adorable carvings. Large living areas with Galana stone finished floors.
Spice of the coast Activities
One can drive up into the Shimba Hills for a late evening game drive and sundowners, which is 45 minutes drive away from Spice of the Coast - Luxury Cottages. Or better still, one can watch the gentle meandering of elephants in nearby Mwaluganje Elephant Sanctuary, 25 minutes away. An hour south, at Shimoni, you can go deep sea fishing, don a mask and snorkel and witness the underwater world at Kisite Marine park and then feast on crab at lunchtime.
Closer home to Spice of the Coast cottages is Diani Beach, a resort town, which offers a plethora of eating, drinking, partying and people watching opportunities, where you can browse boutiques, arrange to play golf or tennis or go scuba diving or windsurfing, kite surfing, casinos, or just party the night away in world class night clubs and discotheques.
