Maua LODGE, charming, friendly family consists of a large house with 5 spacious bedrooms and a beautiful pool.

Maua Lodge is located 5 minutes walk from Diani Beach, the most beautiful beach on the east coast of Kenya, south of Mombasa. Tranquility, greenery and birdsong make this a relaxing place away from city noises. However, restaurants, shops and bars are only 5 minutes. Motor Transport.

In the morning you have the peace of the garden to enjoy your coffee, or you jump in the pool at your feet! In the evening you enjoy your drink at the pool before enjoying the delicious meal that is prepared!

Rooms

• Rooms about 24 m² spacious: they are all equipped with two single beds or one double bed with mosquito net, shower and toilet, individual fans, sitting area, sofa on the veranda
• A superior room of 35m ²: even with more amenities, TV, coffee maker, mini-fridge.
• Possibility of one or two extra beds in some rooms.

Food and Meals

The kitchen smells tickle your taste, time for a drink at the poolside. Eager to discover the culinary customs of Kenya, we will taste dishes with new flavors and many spices. So we offer you the opportunity to taste typical dishes of the Swahili coast of Kenya and the highlands. Fish and crustaceans, purchased on the beach when the fishermen return, are particularly appreciated. The east coast of Kenya is composed of a multiplicity of cultures, cuisines Chinese, Indian and Oriental are also part of the menus offered by our chef.

For the less adventurous ... we'll find a little something more traditional in our closets!

Meals are served at the breakfast table, place of conviviality and exchange, where everyone has the opportunity to share his impressions and experiences.

The pool is a focal point of the house. Shaded by a magnificent baobab tree, you can relax at any time of day ... or night! The swimming pool built at the lodge gives it a very special charm.

The pool depth is variable, which allows adults to touch the bottom or for athletes to dive safely.

It is advisable for children to swim, the pool is not fenced. Each parent is responsible for the safety of her children.

•  Walk along the beautiful white sand beach of Diani Beach, lined with coconut trees .... courage, it only 10 km!
•  Swimming in the Indian Ocean, which by its warm water throughout the year makes it a highlight of day trips for all guests. The coefficients of tide being high, it is nice to combine swimming in the pool and beack
•  You can also share your secrets with our culinary cooking and participating in the preparation of a Kenyan meal.
•  Entertainment at the Lodge with traditional dances.
