Mara Siria Camp Maasai Mara Kenya

Print PDF

Mara Timbo Camp is ideally situated in the most untamed bush in the Western part of Masai Mara, near Oloololo escarpment, where the classical Africa movie "Out of Africa" was produced. Mara Timbo Camp, directly in a loop of Mara River, offers its guests a perfect panoramic view of two huge herds of hippos from your bush pavilion as well as from the dining area. The Camp is embedded in 300 acres of land, owned by a Masai landlord. The area allows walking safaris, beautiful sundowners, bush cuisines and night game drives.

Mara Timbo Camp Accommodation

Mara Timbo Camp offers seven luxurious and spacious bush pavilions (each 45sqm) with en-suite bathrooms, tastefully decorated interiors, with warm blends of color and unique furnishings. The bush pavilions are all under grass thatched roofs, providing cool temperatures during the day. Mara Timbo Camp facilities in the bush pavilions include a large king size bed made out of local furniture under a mosquito net, a safe deposit for valuables, enough space for placing clothes, a writing table, a stand mirror, a bathroom with two double sinks, hot and cold water, flush toilet, 220/240volt power supply and amenities for use by the guests.

Facilities for recharging batteries are available at Mara Timbo Camp. Guests should bring the required adapters. Out on every tent's deck, guests can overlook The Mara River. The private terrace is 110sqm wide with a dining area, a swing and a cozy sitting place for leisure time and romantic getaways.
