Accommodation
Each of the camp's 'tented chalets' are carefully spaced out amongst fig trees on the ridgeline. Eagles, vultures and other raptors soar effortlessly at eye level, from your own private balcony, whilst the glowing sun rises with the dawn chorus punctuated by whoops of hyaenas below. Each expansive tent – among the largest tents in the game reserve – has five areas. The spacious bedroom features two queen beds and oversized windows which fill the rooms with cooling breezes. The dressing room is fitted with a ceramic sink, hand carved wooden counter and large mirror as well as a private water closet with flush toilet and large shower room.
Hot and cold running water, allow guests to freshen up and unwind. Electric lights shine in every tent and the camps are equipped with 220V plugs for charging batteries and other devices. Outside, the open veranda is shaded with comfortable seating. The ideal setting to savoir a cool drink or spot of tea as you watch the 'theatre of the wild'.
Dining
Enjoy delicious Pan-African and traditional bush cuisine. Three main meals are served daily under a large canvas dining tent overlooking beautiful scenery. Each day is culminated with a five course dinner complete with coffee or tea under the stars or by the camp fire.
Our chefs gladly observe any special dietary preferences and often cater to additional dining requests by clients. For instance, weather permitting, meals can be individually served in your own veranda or at other picturesque locations. Picnic meals are prepared for full day game drives and sun-downers are also arranged for clients as requested. These provide an engaging view of the landscape and wildlife as you unwind from the day.
