The "BLUE MARLIN" RESORT is one of the oldest accommodation destinations in Malindi. It was built in 1913 to exploit the need for accommodation by the growing number of explorers of the early years of the 20th century who were on a mad rush to explore and learn about the flora and fauna of this part of Africa.
Among those remembered to have stayed at the Blue Marlin is Ernest Hemingway, whose presence is shown in more than 50 scripts and Marilyn Monroe, as well as distinguished scientists, actors, statesmen, who stayed at Blue Marlin out of curiosity and a spirit of adventure.
The modern renovation has partially reduced the initial space dedicated to the park but still retains the presence of wildlife fauna (birds, insects, lizards, etc.) with its typical sound and color.
For the structure of the Blue Marlin, the sports facilities offered include a 1000 square meter gym equipped with Teknogym machinery, located at the center of two magnificent swimming pools.

Blue Marlin is situated at the center of Malindi town. Banks, shops, supermarkets, disco clubs and the police station are all within a few minutes walk. The public beach is also directly accessible from the complex.
