Msafini Hotel is a newly established hotel in Shela, designed and constructed in both new and ancient design and architecture. The hotel is situated in such a location that it gives a complete view of the whole village as well as a clear scenery of the Indian ocean and other islands.
Lamu District is located on the northern most part of the Coast province of Kenya and it borders Ijara District to the North, Tana River district to the west and south and the Indian Ocean to the east.

Msafini hotel consists of 14 rooms, all of which have access to their own private balcony. Honeymoon suits are also available which have spacious balcony with traditional chairs and beds arranged around.
