Kristine Camp Lake Turkana sited on the shore of Lake Turkana, just one kilometer south of Eliye Springs. This new campsite can provide tents if you do not have your own. Simple but clean WCs and showers are provided at a short walking distance. Food options are limited with local chicken and goat meat predominating. You should consider bringing some of your own "extras" to enhance the dining experience.

Make sure you pitch your tent(s) in a well-chosen location (behind some palm-trees, for example) for the strong winds off the lake particularly at evening time are legendary and can contribute a dose of sand to your sandwiches.
