Naishi Guest House Lake Nakuru National Park
Location: Nakuru District, Rift Valley Province. 160 km north-west of Nairobi
Accommodation: Formerly the warden's house and set amongst acacia trees with magnificent views across the Park; the accommodation comprises the main house and a separate annex. Bathroom: The main house has a bathroom/WC. There is also an outside latrine. The annex has a shower and a WC.
Sitting room: The main house has a tastefully furnished sitting room with a log fire and a door leading to a loggia-style veranda. The annex has no sitting room.
Dining area: The main house has a spacious open –plan dining area leading off the kitchen and sitting room.
Kitchen: The main house has an open-plan kitchen with gas cooker (stove and oven), refrigerator, kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses.
Provided: Caretaker, kerosene lamps, blankets, pillows, bed linen, mosquito nets, towels, soap, and toilet tissue. Electricity by generator from 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.
Park highlights: This world-renowned Park features a lake famous for its flamingo population.
Activities: Picnics, nature trails and driving circuits.
Wildlife: Includes; rhino, hippo, lion and leopard.
Birds: 450 species and, at times, over 1.5 million flamingo.
