At Capital Hill Lodge, we are dedicated and actively involved in conserving the environment. Capital Hill Lodge neighbors the menengai forest which surrounds menengai crater. This forest is home to many bird species and it surrounds the menengai crater. We have provided fencing for part of the forest for the interest of conservation and security. we have also been involved in tree planting in the forest. In the interest of being environmental friendly, we have also invested heavily in solar energy, this significantly reduces fossil fuel energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.
