The Sleeping Warrior Camp Naivasha Kenya

Print PDF

The Sleeping Warrior Camp is an exclusive tented camp nestled on the slopes of a volcano, surrounded by 20,000 hectares of the private Soysambu Conservancy. On the shores of one of the most beautiful lakes in the Great Rift Valley, Lake Elementaita, lies the vast, extinct volcano. The Lake lies 160 km's from Nairobi - a 2-3 hour journey depending on road conditions.

The Sleeping Warrior Camp has 6 Units (maximum capacity 12 adults and 2 children). All rooms have comfortable beds with continental quilts and fine-quality linen. Electricity for the camp is solar powered and so does not allow for hair dryers.

The camp has 2 tents with en-suite bathrooms (hot shower, wash basin with mirror and flush toilet) and private terrace, sleep two or three guests. The third tent comes with a private leleshwa enclosure and a private bathroom 2 meters from the tent (hot shower, wash basin with mirror and flush toilet) sleeps one or two persons with the option of a separate tent for children - ideal for a family.

The Sleeping Warrior Camp fourth tent is located on a lava outcrop with private bathroom 2 meters from the tent (hot shower, wash basin with mirror and flush toilet) and private terrace, sleeps one or two persons. The fifth Tent is a secluded getaway with lava stone/canvas walls and thatched roof with en suite bathroom (hot shower, wash basin with mirror and flush toilet); star-bed that can be rolled out onto the large private terrace for stargazing.

The sixth Tent is a double bedroom located within the main building, the room has its own bathroom with bathtub, large sink and a mirror decorated with lava stone.
