Mdoroni House Kilifi
Two exceptionally beautiful houses, Pehoni and Behewa, built in a Swahili style on a superb site with commanding panoramic views up and down the creek and out to sea. The houses share a swimming pool, located between them and are ideally suited to extended families or large groups that like to holiday together. The houses, with their open first floor terraces are not suitable for very young children unless they are supervised
Mdoroni House Kilifi
Pehoni means "cooled by sea breezes" and Behewa means "inner courtyard" in old Swahili.
Mdoroni which means "the place of sweet water" in Giriama is tucked into a gentle curve at the mouth of Kilifi Creek on the south side, at a point known as Ras Kitoka. The property has two fully furnished and equipped four-bedroom houses, both thatched in the local traditional palm "Makuti" with a pristine swimming pool in between and surrounded by mature trees and tropical gardens. The Houses are called Pehoni - meaning cooled by sea breezes and Behewa - meaning inner courtyard in old Swahili.www.crocodileracers.com
