Distant Relatives Ecolodge & Backpackers is a walk up from the emerald waters of Kilifi Creek into hills of Baobab, bougainvillea, mango and the noise of goats and village chatter. It is an experimental model of environmentally and socially conscious living. Adventurers people from around the world gather to share tales of the road and mingle with the local community.
Days are spent exploring forests, sailing the lagoon on traditional dhows or relaxing in the leafy gardens. Nights are wild or tranquil as one desires; stay in for a movie, a moonlit walk, a foolish moon party; or take a TukTuk into town for some wild times in Kilifi's bars and restaurants.
