Tour starts and ends in Mombasa

Amboseli National Park is Kenya's first established game park and the word 'Amboseli' is the Maasai word for "salt dust". It is situated on the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro 5895m (19,340ft) very close to the Tanzanian border. With the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife (Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Cheetah, and Buffalo) and various plains' game, postcard perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed. This park has a record of over 250 species of birds.

Our representative will pick you from your hotel in Mombasa coast beach and brief you on the safari before you proceed to Amboseli National Park with packed lunch enroute. The greatest attraction is the vast herds of Elephant within the park. The evening game drive will complete this full day and allow you to see and experience the wilds of Africa in its natural state. Dinner and overnight stay at Sentrim Amboseli Tented Camp.

We spend a full day in the Reserve with morning and late evening game drives. Mt Kilimanjaro – Uhuru Peak will provide a beautiful backdrop. A visit to a Maasai Manyatta will enrich your cultural experience with the local people who are known to co-exist with the wildlife. Dinner and overnight stay at Sentrim Amboseli Tented Camp

Day 3: Amboseli – Tsavo East or Tsavo West (Breakfast, Packed Lunch & Dinner)

After breakfast, exit the park for either Tsavo West or Tsavo East with lunch en-route arriving late in the afternoon. An evening game drive will follow before retiring. Dinner and overnight at either of the parks.

Day 4: Tsavo West or Tsavo East – Mombasa (Breakfast)

Optional, a pre-breakfast game drive after which you drive back to the lodge for a sumptuous breakfast. Check out and depart for Mombasa with a drop off at your beach hotel or airport.

CHARGES

Children Rate Policy:

• Children below 2 years sharing parent's room - Free of charge
• Children between 3 -11 years sharing parent's room - 80% of adult rate
• Children in own room - 90% of adult rate applies
• Children aged 12 yrs and above, adult rate applies

NB: The above rates are subject to change without notice should necessitating factors dictate. These may be influenced by changes in government policies, intermittent exchange rates among other factors.

PLEASE NOTE: The tour can be upgraded to a higher standard accommodation at an extra cost. It can also be cheaper if less expensive (but still good quality) accommodation is used. The final cost of the tour depends on your budget and preference.

• Return road transport in our customized tour van with pop up roof for game viewing
• Game drives per day
• 2 nights accommodation in Amboseli & 1 night in Tsavo East or West on FB basis
