This safari takes you to the Northern Kenya Tourism Circuit – Samburu and to Aberdare National Park right at the base of Mount Kenya where on clear days the coronet peas of Batian and Nelion are seen. We later head to Lake Nakuru famous for its pink colored greater and lesser flamingos. The climax is then to Lake Naivasha the fresh water lake which are famous with bird watchers

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu (Lunch, Dinner)

Early departure for Samburu National Reserve which lies on the vast semi desert lands of Northern Kenya arriving late in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive will introduce you to the animals which are peculiar to this area; the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra and the Somali Ostrich. Lions are also frequently seen on the riverbanks while Cheetah(s) can be found on the open plains. Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge

Day 2: Samburu (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

We spend a full day in the Reserve with early morning and late evening game drives. Meals will be provided at the lodge. Samburu National Reserve is a wildlife haven. Here you will spot Africa's big cats - Lions, Cheetahs and the elusive Leopard. Some animals are unique to this northern Kenya Park: Grevy's Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Kudu and Gerenuk. The Ewaso Nyiro River, the boundary with the neighboring Buffalo Springs National Reserve, is where the Elephants, Buffalo and other animal species gather for a drink. You will find the scenic semi-arid landscape quite dramatic. Samburu Game Park & Reserve is located within the lands of the colorful semi-nomadic Samburu tribesmen. Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge

Day 3: Samburu – Aberdare Ranges (Breakfast, Packed Lunch & Dinner)

After breakfast, depart for Aberdare National Park. Attractions include spectacular waterfalls, mountains, walks in the moorlands and different species of wildlife. Queen Elizabeth learned of her accession to the throne at Tree-tops in Aberdare Ranges Kenya. Dinner and overnight stay at Treetops Lodge

Day 4: Aberdare (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

We spend a full day enjoying the diverse topography that includes icy rivers, spectacular waterfalls and rain forests. The flora and fauna is quite unique and is not found elsewhere in the country expect on Mount Kenya. Picnic lunch with an option of taking a guided trek along the Moorland and on to Karuru Water Falls.

Dinner and overnight stay at Treetops Lodge where sumptuous English meals are served and you have the unique opportunity for a nocturnal game viewing from the comfort of your room or at the viewing deck where Animals including African Elephant, Warthogs among others come to quench their thirst from the lodge's watering hole.

Day 5: Aberdare - Lake Nakuru (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is home to Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds including a variety of terrestrial birds numbering about 450 species in total. Other wildlife includes Warthog, Waterbuck, Buffalo, Lion, Rothschild Giraffe, Reedbuck, Leopard and Rhinos. Dinner and overnight stay at Flamingo Hill Camp

Day 6: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha. Optional activities include but not limited to: Boat ride with a view of Hippos and different species of birds. Whilst not a National park or Reserve itself, the Lake Naivasha Basin holds two small National Parks, both of which are well worth a visit. Excellent bird watching, a large population of Hippo, good fishing and a wide range of superb hotels, camps and lodges make Lake Naivasha a favored spot for weekend breaks. Lunch, dinner and overnight stay at the shores of the Lake at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort

Day 7: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi (Breakfast)

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch with a drop off at your hotel or at the airport for your onward travel.
