Masai Mara itinerary:

Day 1: Depart Nairobi – Masai Mara

Depart Nairobi for Maasai Mara aboard Air Kenya departing at 0915hrs and arriving at Mara (Ngerende airstrip) at 1000hrs. There will be a chauffer from Ngerende to meet and transfer you to Ngerende. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Ngerende Island Lodge. You have an option of relaxing at the lodge soon after arrival or if you are still energetic, go for an afternoon game drive within the Olchoro Conservancy.

Day 2: Full Day Maasai Mara

Full day at Maasai Mara – Option of resting and indulging in the services offered at the lodge. These include massage (you have a complimentary 30 mins massage every day) any additional time is charged as per the lodge's tariffs. Spa treatments too are chargeable.

Day 3: Full Day Maasai Mara

Full day at Maasai Mara – Option of indulging in a Hot air balloon safari which includes a Champagne Bush breakfast (this can be arranged at an extra cost of US $ 460 per person subject to price confirmation at the time of booking)

Day 4: Full Day Maasai Mara – Mara Reserve

Full day at Maasai Mara – In search of the big cats of Mara as well as wait along the Mara river bank for the annual wildebeest Migration spectacle. Ngerende will arrange to drive you to the main Maasai Mara Park where you have opportunity of viewing more game as well as catching the real spectacle of the wildebeest crossing thee Mara River. (This is by luck and we pray that you will be lucky enough to witness this spectacle). Most of the time, the drivers have a way of communicating amongst themselves on the radio frequencies to establish indeed if the migration is happening not to mention any other interesting but unique sighting e.g a live hunt.

Day 5: Masai Mara - Nairobi

On this day you reluctantly return to Nairobi after lunch (the extra lunch is catered for) your flight leaves Ngerende airstrip at 1315hrs arriving Nairobi at 1445hrs. Again the staff at Ngerende will transfer you to the airstrip and ensure you have boarded your chartered flight.
