Kenya's escarpments also offer some of the most breath taking views of the Rift valley.

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

We depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south through Masai land to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. After a picnic lunch enroute, we enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park before setting up camp in preparation for the evening. With the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, spectacular displays of wildlife – Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Rhinos, Cheetahs, Buffalos and various plains' game, postcard perfect pictures are almost always guaranteed. (Picnic lunch & Dinner)

Day 2: Amboseli

We spend the day enjoying Amboseli through early morning and afternoon game drives. Lunch will be served at the campsite and you have the option of visiting the nearby lodge for a swim and cold drink or nearby community for example Lenkisem masai cultural visit (optional). The waters from Mt. Kilimanjaro drain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. At 329 sq km, the plains of Amboseli offer better chances of seeing game namely; Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions, Gazelles, Cheetahs, Wildebeest, Hyenas, Jackals, Warthogs, Masai Giraffes, Zebras, Baboons, Waterbucks among others. (Breakfast, Picnic lunch & Dinner)

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast, we depart Amboseli viewing game en route as we proceed back towards Nairobi and further down the Escarpment to the floor of the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru National Park is situated. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way arriving late in the afternoon. The park covers 180 sq km and is home to Warthogs, Waterbuck, Buffalos, Reedbucks and the occasional Leopard among other wildlife. White and Black Rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and the park has also retained its reputation as an Ornithologists' delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. Diner at the campsite. (Breakfast, Picnic lunch & Dinner)

Day 4 Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Early morning breakfast before venturing into Lake Nakuru national park for a morning game drive. We return to the campsite thereafter to break camp and depart towards Narok town and Mara with packed lunch. Arrive Mara in the late afternoon and proceed on a brief game drive before exiting to set up camp at our Talek riverside campsite. The Mara reserve is typical savannah with a mass of amazing wildlife. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see frequent amount of wildlife such as the Big 5, Masai Giraffes, Baboons, Warthogs, Bat eared foxes, Grey Jackals, Spotted Hyenas, Topis, Impalas, Hartebeests, GNUs, Elephants, Buffalos, Zebras, Hippos and Crocodiles also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see Lions basking after a heavy meal or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and Leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common. (Breakfast, Picnic lunch & Dinner)

Day 5: Masai Mara

We spend the entire day in the reserve viewing game and absorbing the amazing sceneries. Optional activities include visiting a Masai village or school. You may also visit the lodge for a refreshing drink or swim. The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus happening from late June or early July and going on till October when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lush grass before turning south again in October. Balloon trips are an entirely outstanding way of seeing the savannah plains and the wildlife from an aerial birds view. (Breakfast, Picnic lunch & Dinner)
