Travel Summary:

This safari is to Kenya's greatest concentration of game the Masai Mara which is a continuous ecosystem with the Serengeti in Tanzania. The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest migration in July through to October when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning back south again in October. However game viewing is rewarding all year round. On our way to Maasai Mara, we pass through Kenya's Rift valley escarpment which offers some breath taking views. Animals to look out for; Wildebeest, Topis, Grants gazelle, Thomson Gazelle, Impalas, Elands, Hartebeests, Giraffes, Zebras, Buffalos, Rhinos, Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, Bat-eared fox, Jackals, Hyenas, Crocodiles, Hippos, more than 470 species of birds are to be found; some of which include: Vultures, Marabou storks, Secretary birds, Hornbills, Crowned cranes, Ostriches, Long-crested eagles, African pygmy-falcons, lilac-breasted roller which is the national bird of Kenya among many others.
